Nicole Franklin

I am a Costume Buyer and Stylist with over 20 years of experience in the film and television wardrobe industry. My passion lies in telling stories through the use of textiles and costume design.

After earning my degree in Costume Design from Toronto’s International Academy of Design, I entered the world of costume via theatre productions where I worked at the National Ballet of Canada and the International Broadway hit “The Lion King” amongst others.

Seeking to expand my professional experience, I transitioned from theatre to film and television, where I gained valuable experience working on major features such as "Pompeii" and "Suicide Squad." After many years working on sets, I found my niche as a buyer, bringing designs to life in popular TV series such as "Suits" with Megan Markle, Guillermo Del Toro's "The Strain," "The Umbrella Academy," and countless others.
